Oil pastels. Gosh, was it hard to keep the edges white... I've been trying to draw this for weeks... I really wish I'd been able to water color it... I HATE pastels...
ANYWAY... This is for you, Cassidy. There's a lot of little things, little symbols... Don't know it you can tell, but one hand's a guy's, the other's a gals. (Oil pastels are a VERY hard medium for details, for me, at least) The different clouds because the sky is always changing, like life, but it's still always there watching over us. We share it, always. (unless you're chicken little) The heart... because I love you. And I know you love me. I just can't wait until we're together once again... |
